My monthly favourites include...

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child

First of all, AHHHHH! I'm such a Potterhead so its no surprise this book is in my favourites. Although this arrived on my doorstep yesterday morning I managed to read it in a few hours because its so hard to put down. However, this next chapter catching us up with our friends in the magic world, is written as a stage/theatre script. Unfortunately, this may confirm that we won't be getting another film starring our beloved Daniel, Emma and Rupert. I found the script easy to follow although initially being worried when purchasing it considering I've never read a script book.I don't want to give anything away so I'll leave the blurb below but I can tell you, its definitely worth a read.

'It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.'

Leather Jacket

This versatile piece of clothing I often feel I reach to to complete any outfit whether it be a day or night outfit, they are so easy to throw on and match everything. With this 'summer' month not being as hot as it should be, my leather jacket has definitely seen its fair share of wear during this month. Simple, classic and a staple piece to any wardrobe.

Tan Sandals

I have worn these sandals out this month because I absolutely love them! The dainty cut-outs and suede tan give a summery bohemian vibe, while the slight heel makes them more than just a gladiator sandals. Below are some pictures featuring both my leather jacket and these tan sandals, both in which are sold out:( However, Oasis do a similar shoe...

Chokers

Super on trend chokers are a must have this summer. Although simple, they turn a simple outfit to one looking more thought through. As well as being versatile they are available in such a range of colours and styles by so many different brands. I personally have been reaching to my plain black choker and wore it almost daily as it suits most outfits. Here are some of my favourites, and my own, pictured below...

Bodysuits

A go to outfit choice through summer and winter, I have been obsessing over bodysuits this month and my collection had definitely seen a few new editions. Although I often contemplate why I chose to wear one when I need the toilet, other than then I love them! No tucking in or regularly adjusting, they're so easy to wear.

Pictured below is my current favourite bodysuit...

St Moriz Fake Tan

With my skin continuously not showing any type of sun exposure whats so ever, this has been my go to bronze fix. The consistency I find best personally is mouse and the formula of this particular tan is fantastic. After developing (I normally leave it on over night) it leaves you with an olive under toned, natural looking tan. Additionally, the colour lasts up to a week and with good skin preparation, the exfoliation of the skin, it may last even longer. I've tried a fair share of fake tans and this has to be my favorite and for the price, you can't go wrong.

Nivea Post Shave Balm

Although this product is aimed at men for after shaving, I watched a handful of YouTube make-up tutorials that recommended using it as a primer and I have to say, it does work and is incredibly cheap. A little goes very long way so it is great value for money. The product comes out of the bottle quite thin, almost like the consistency of Mac Face and Body foundation which, makes it very easy to blend into the skin. I have also replaced my moisturizer with this balm as it doesn't only prime, it really hydrates and gives moisture to my skin. It provides such a smooth base for foundation giving a flawless, long lasting finish to my make-up.
