Spotted on both the runways and on celebrities, you too can get in on the trend. Designers such as Christian Dior (whose AW14 collection, was designed by Raf Simons) , early last year, has a major lace-up focus.
Kim Kardashian knows this trend all too well as she has been spotted in lace up heels, lace up dresses and jumpsuits. If a front lace up top like Kim K is a bit too risqué for your taste, there is definitely a lot more you could try.

The corsetry inspired and playful lace up trend was immensely popular in Spring/Summer this year and unsurprisingly... It's back again and has been incorporated into some gorgeous Autumn pieces'.
As Autumn around the corner and colors switching towards the neutrals, adding even a subtle peice lace up will bring out all the right kinds of details. However, as 70's is back bringing with it its rusty oranges and dark reds, which are currently a key colour in most stores, mean a lot of these lace up pieces also follow this 'new' 70's trend too.
For the evening pair these boho chic items with tights, midi boots and a furry jacket and you will spot on with other Autumn/Winter trends too.

Topshop Tie Up Front Dress - £48 MissGuided White Lace Up Bodysuit - £22

Miss Selfridge Daisy Print Lace Up Tee - £19.60. Subtle yet follows the trend. In Autumn pair these with high waisted leggings, chelsea boots and a tailored blazer coat.

Jaquard Poet Blouse - £36. Topshops gorgeous '70s style vibrant orange and flowy blouse ... Couldn't be more on trend. In Autumn I would pair with a felt floppy hat, jeans and knee high boots. Pair these items above with fringing (maybe on a bag), flares and suede to ace the 70's trend.

Designer brands and high street stores have incorporated this detail to at least one type of shoe, whether that be flats, heels, sandals or all three.
